  1. I think this cover is the most effective. I"m not sure that the font choice is apropriat, but I like that the cover features your subject's "front and back". Also, the color red is meshing with the green trees for some reason.

  2. I think that the first cover works the best. It has a hint of goofiness to it but still looks the most like a book cover. The red text works well with the mostly green background as well. The other two just look like someone just messing around with photoshop.

  3. I like covers 1 and 2 best. The fonts are playful. The front of cover 1 is the strongest in my opinion. It's just straight up in your face about the subject matter. The same can be said about the back of cover 1. I would personally go with the front 1 and back 1 but I would alter it up with like a physical object covering his private parts just so that you are teasing the viewer into opening up the book... like a smile face sticker or something.

  4. The only thing I am concerned about it the difference in the dimensions of that particular cover.

  5. Cover #1 works best. I'm not sure I like the font choice, but the color red works-it really stands out. Maybe use a more playful, fun font like in the other covers. I also like cover #3 it's really interesting, but you have to stare at it longer to make out the photos.

  6. The first cover is also my choice. I like the goofiness and almost British humor it suggests. It's also interesting to look for and find the relationship to the title and you left just enough of a hint in the image.

  7. Cover one at the bottom is far and away my choice of the three, I would play with the typography a bit, the font suggests the playful feeling of your subject but for whatever reason the red text isn't popping off from the trees. I would think red would work because it is such a vibrant color and the complement of green but it gets lost. I think you should stay with the red color but just bump it down into the grey street, maybe try and wrap it so it looks like it is written on the road curving towards the viewer.

  8. First let me say that I like the pics you took this week the most of all of them. I think they look very natural but still in a public setting...you are so serious in them :) As far as the book covers go, I think the one with the yellow font works the best. The red one is a little scary, the green font and swirl is not working as well as the yellow. This cover sort of reminds me of austin powers which means its funny and not too serious. Also stick with that title ...I like the "folks" instead of people.

  9. As far as texts I'm really digging the top yellow one (front3?) but I think the front3 picture is too good to not have on the front page. All the pics are good though I enjoy the squirls and bheads shots. However I think you can drop the other fonts, kind of remind me of these cartoon shows I used to watch in the 60s and 90s. Color wise, eh, I'm feeling the yellow but don't want to rule out the other colors for some reason. Folks it up.

  10. I like the font used in the front 1 and I like the covers which have only a slightly blurred version of the photo, front 1 and front 2. As far as the title of the book, I think maybe give it some more though, I like the 'naked folks' part, but I'm just not sure about the title, sounds too plain or something, not sure.

  11. Cover set 3 should be your focus. The text is right and the pictures are brilliant. The models extended ass crack is lucky. I would like to see more examples of the weird distortion with other pictures. Maybe a comparison with the same style but different photos would be helpful.

  12. cover one is awesome. i also find it interesting how the front of the cover is the frontal nude, and for the back we get . . . well the backside of someone. the text choice is nice. it has that crazy/wild sense. im just not too sure with the color choice of the font.

  13. Ok, visually, design one draws the reader in as they try to figure out what is pictured, which is good. The choice of font and color needs work. I actually like the 3rd design, but the back needs to be same format as front (size wise) and the font choice/color needs tweeking. But good first start!

  14. I most definetely like the first cover, it gives you a silly feel and makes me look into it. The other two are good but the second one is a little too much the twisty and the third one is goin nuts lol
